Nice beat

Very laid back track, pushed a little more towards house than trance imo

All around it's just plain relaxing to listen to, I can't really point out any problem areas to this track.

Only thing I can suggest is to maybe slightly lower your master volume, it seems a bit loud

DisconnectedFromGame responds:

Yeah I export with volume at 100% so others can adjust the volume while still getting the same sound quality. Thanks for the review man!

I see some potential here

Definately sounds like you're pretty new at audio, but I can hear some potential in this.

First and foremost, you need to increase the master volume of the song. Campare your song in your program to a song playing in an audio player to find a good volume setting. Having too low of a volume is a hassle and also can cause some quality to be lost.

I like your score behind this, while the instruments are nothing special, I can see something pretty nice created with the score you have here once you get a little more comfortable with your program.

Keep at it, I'll keep an eye out for your stuff in the near future :)

Pandangerous responds:

Fixed.

Pretty nice track

Definately a ton of energy pushing this track forward, nice seeing something different out of you as well

The moog lead has a bit of a feeling of familiarity with alot of other songs, but I don't think any other kind of instrument would've worked as well as that in its place.

That piano section was crispy clear, and sounded great, one of the highlights of the track

Surprisingly loopable for a full song, not sure if that was intentional or not, but you can easily miss where the song ends and realize it's halfway through another play through when you check :P

The pitch rises worked in some areas, but seemed a little awkward at times. At the end of the piano section, it feels out of place at first until the other instruments start up, just doesn't flow as well as it did with the synths.

Good stuff, overall the top notch quality songs we expect out of you :)

Hahah holy shit that actually sounds catchy :P

Two completely different key songs and it actually works in a sense XD

People kept telling me someone did this but I could never find it, for a relatively simple overlay job I'll give you credit on somehow making a connection between the two songs

ps: PM me a link to DJ Becklez's profile, I need to have a word with him

Not bad

Recently remixed this myself :P

The double kicks/offbeat kicks seem kinda like they're at a wierd point in the measure, probably would flow better at the end of the measure instead of in the first couple steps. Also, the hat fade-in kicker pattern probably should've been used more like a crecendo or a way to finish a 4/8/16 measure portion, it sounds a bit repetitive with it being used so much.

The moog bass I think could use a slightly lighter attack, but that's a personal opinion thing :P

Nice kicker by the way, it has a nice punch to it as well as just being all around pleasing to listen to

overall, pretty good stuff, just needs a few small tweaks on the kicker

itsfoxhall responds:

Thanks for the thoughts dude :) and yeah the double kicks are in a strange pattern in some parts because I was trying to stay close to the track with the kick drum and reverse crashs, some hi hats don't go with the kicks at one point because it was starting to get repetative so I played around with some hi snare and kick patterns aswell with the odd tom fill every so often.

I like the track as it is, it was longer but wouldn't upload so had to cut a bit of it off, but everyone's thoughts count :D

Thanks again (Y)

Potentially beasty

This track has some pretty good potential, all you need to do is fine tune the pitch on your arps and leads, they're just a little off compared to the stuff in the background

outside of that, you've got a ton of energy behind this, plus a pretty hard kicker

I think I just did that dance...

Isn't this a remix of that song with the that dance....eep o.o;

not bad, just an annoying as hell song to remix XD

Made of Win :D

Loved it, you know how to build up a nice atomosphere with that crowd in the backgroud and the synths supporting the kicker

only complaint is that you swap up what patterns are going at strange moments during some of the measures

Good Remix

Pretty much flawless, only thing that seemed wierd was between kickers it seemed somewhat quiet, somewhat as if I was expecting an offbeat bassline to be mixed in between them.

I like the twist you have on the original, doesn't sound like it was copied for the most part (something alot of people tend to get the sound of when remixing), and also have a definite personal touch

nice piano btw :D

You're getting better each song :D

Getting better and better man, reminescent of Dimrain's stuff (Chronamut mentioned the same to me when I showed him some of your stuff yesterday)

As always, you do an amazing job with your scores, just need to improve your instruments a bit. They're better than before, and damn is this catchy, that's for sure.

I'll have to toss you some of my effects channels and instruments sometime and see what you can do :)

Sanryd responds:

Hey Thanks,

I think you've paid me the biggest compliments anyone has on here. Hopefully by the end of 2008 i'll have gone through my software learning curve and be able to focus on score and vocals. I really want vocals in my songs... (like Daft Punk type vocals) and i'd like to make my stuff more repetative, but i can't really until i've got vocals or it just isn't catchy.

Man I would love to get some effects and instruments from ya, that would be a HUGE help, i'm such a software noob!

Anyways, thanks again.

Sanity is grossly overrated and detrimental to the creative process.
