April 14, 2009 ***Spent 11 hours working on a TV Field Production assignment today...whew...
Started playing Ether Saga the other night, it's surprisingly fun. The combat system is kinda like rock-paper-scissors, and you can shapeshift, as well as have a handful of pets handy, so each fight can be handled differently, so grinding isn't as monotonous as many MMORPGs usually are (I'm talking to YOU TwelveSky)

I'm on the East Coast server, usually Realm 03 until I find out which realm tends to be the most populated. Yoah Ranger username is TheComet

January 20, 2009 ***First post of 2009, just 19 days late :P Got a few things going, a bit of school related stress but not being sure if I passed half my classes due to technicality does that, so what can you do? Personally, I'm not checking my grades until the last moment, better to compact stress into 1 day than a month XD

Anyways....Got a remix in the works of the Ice Cap Zone song from Sonic 3, something I've wanted to do since I first heard a remix of it back in 2004 or so.

November 10, 2008 ***After doing that "Half-Remix" of Termination, I feel like going back through a few of my good songs from the last 2 years and remixing/remastering them. Expect to hear something new from Rapture, Evershine, Terror Form, and possibly Fortune :)***

November 9, 2008 ***So...I've got Fable II, Fallout 3, Far Cry 2, and Gears of War 2 (FEAR THE POWER OF SEQUALS)
Here's my rundown on them:
Fable II
Great graphics and animation, great sound, the combat system is AWESOME, but unfortunately you never really get to fight large enough numbers at once to see it shine at it's best except for only a small handful of cases. Fable II also lacks any real boss battles, which were a strength of Fable I's storyline. The storyline was decent though, and the size of the ingame world was pretty big, geared more towards a free roam feeling in terms of map design
Farcry 2
Great graphics and sound, alot of realistic elements such as the propagation of fire with the wind and how healing actually has you removing bullets, forcing bones back into joints, etc. The AI has some really high points, but at times seems a little abyssmal but nothing too bad, although buddies seem to get hurt alot. Enemies feel like bullet sponges but there are enough ways to kill them that it isn't a big deal :P
Fallout 3
Wow. Graphics are pretty good, themed well, great music, and it actually really pushes on you to focus on survival over money and gear. Oh and if you want to nuke Megaton, you damn well better get Jericho to tag along with you first, DAMN does that guy help!
Gears 2
Pretty much flawless, I'll have to write up a longer summary of the game later since I'm strapped for time atm

September 22, 2008 ***Happy Madness Day all! I have a flash planned out but I'm busy with classes all week so it may not show up until the weekend, but I should be able to get it done regardless***

September 21, 2008 ***Started up my newest project, or more realistically, started back up on a year old project listed in The WIP Project.

The name of the track is "Eden", a DnB/Ambience combo with a high energy touch, you can catch a demo of it here: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/156769 7/

I don't know if this project will last me 2 weeks or a month, but so far it sounds pretty damn good. Drums will be beefed up no worries.

In other news, Spore has a PC patch up and a MAC one coming, this one fixes some animations and adds a sweet cheat that lets you start creature mode with a creature from any point in evolution in that stage, so you can use anything you see in your library just about :D

And Force Unleashed, good game, a bit linear, but a very fun take on using the force. Personally, I built up my evasive abilities first and added the lightsaber power that increases my chances of deflecting blaster rounds, I'm damn near untouchable with firearms right now :D
Good storyline too, really does bridge the gap between episode 3 and the first star wars movie (episode 4?)

September 1, 2008 ***College starts up this Wednesday, so I won't have as much time to work again :/
As for game released, OMFG everything I want is coming out around now :)
Already got Too Human, has some issues but a very fun and intense game, getting Mercenaries 2 tomorrow, Spore comes out the 7th (WOOT) and I have that preordered, and in the spring we have Prototype and Fallout 3 on the release list :D***

May 21, 2008 ***busy writing a paper, so I'll keep this short. Got a few audio projects rolling, expect some more breaktrance in a week or two. The cover based shooter is on hold for about a week, maybe two, while I work on a different project at school. Currently it has the movement system put together for the mostpart, so the next step is to place enemies in and create their AI (which is proving difficult, can't figure out how to get them to recognize what can be used as cover)
Working on getting CS3 working again so I can finish the damn Achievement Unlocked Collab O.o

May 12, 2008 *** That puppy Daisy May has been keeping me busy....havn't had much time to work on music or flash, and TwelveSky is sucking up most of my free time XD (I'm almost the point of being able to wander into enemy territory freely, and take part in global scale conflicts and initiate formation battles :D)

The 3rd Person shooter engine is coming along, still havn't drawn up some spiffy graphics yet, so still all geometric shapes hahah....but hey, next up on the chopping block to do is some enemy AI, which I intend to be very complex in comparison to my old stuff. I'm talking things like if one enemy is injured and on the ground hurt, a nearby enemy might run over to him and drag him behind cover, or enemy troops may work together and throw grenades all at once, or have one fire while the other reloads, etc.

I have several of these ideas thought up, and the coding to do them seems pretty easy to me (and I'm coding VERY organized this time around, really easy to work this way)

So yeah...expect new stuff....eventually.

Anyways, the 3rd person shooter engine is coming along pretty good, movement's done, shooting's done, just need to redraw the graphics, add some enemies, then see if my idea for team AI works out well.

I got this ingenius idea earlier I think I will do over time, essentially: Everyone vs Everything.
I play MUGEN. ALOT. And you can fight as damn near anyone in that, so the idea is to use that concept to create a large scale battle for superiority with anyone in there.

Too Late is still getting worked on, FBF hell, but coming there.

The Achievement Unlocked Collab due date is today, tonight I'll start putting it together and sometime this week it'll get posted.

Finally, I GOT A PUPPY! :D A lil chocolate lab puppy, about 6 weeks old I believe, her name is Daisy May apparently, and she cute as all hell ^^

Final note: Twelve Sky is a VERY addictive MMORPG...I...Can't....Stop...Playing..

May 1, 2008 *** Well Well Well, it's May and I havn't posted jack squat since I got that concussion, well guess what? I've got a new toy in the works ;)
I'm currently working on a 3rd person shooter based around the use of cover, I already have the gun's movement coded, the reticle, recoil system, a good chunk of the focus graphic system (ie: when reloading, distant objects blur a little), and am moving on the movement system where distance is used to give more realistic side to side movement, and also a way to move over your cover and rush towards the next line of defenses.
I've been coding it in school for about a week now, figured out how attachSound works so I can really diversify the sfx and get some general badassery going with the effects using the filters in my AS also

once the basics of the coding are done and some of the graphics (code at school, draw at home) are drawn up, I'll get a BETA engine posted like I did with MindShock***
