Good for you, it's easy to think you want something you don't especially if you really did want it before... Did that make any sense?
Sanity is grossly overrated and detrimental to the creative process.

Welcome to the world of music. Your passion shall be heard.
I hope you still find some value in art.

I still value the visual arts, it takes alot to put something together appealing to others, I just find that my niche is more audible
Good luck with your new chosen path and enjoy the ride. You never know when another sidepath will come along and you decide to see what's over the hill... life is like that for anyone with a creative mind, or a whimsical nature :)
Maybe you wouldn't be failing so many classes if you stopped wasting all your time on Newgrounds.
Seriously, commissions? Maybe you should get a job first (if you don't already have one). And then focus on your classes. Newgrounds will always be here. Don't waste time dicking around this place when you're failing classes.
I'm on break right now, my classes don't start back up until late July.
And when I say commissions, most of them would probably come from FurAffinity since it's easier to get the information out there for that
Music is art too...to be honest I see it as more art than some silly drawing.
I know, I usually mean the visual arts when I say art, thing of habit
Ironic that you quit art the day the art portal is released. But whatever floats your boat man, more power to you.
I just give up on the major, I still draw, animate, etc, just I no longer want to consider those for a future career
but the art portal.....D:
meh u had some good flashes >.<
I'm still animating, I just give up on the major
Dude best of luck to you.
I see the same you do, music being a passion and such. Wanting it to become your job. Yep.
Once again wish the utmost luck to you =D
I like the part "... making music to impress." Really looking forward to your new songs :D

No worries.
Music is an art in itself.
